Heavy Humans propagates the minimalist mantra that less is more. Humans are heavy things, yet there is an increasing urge to weigh ourselves down willingly to be noble, special, or glamorous. Instead, with its hypnotic tone, this song builds up to a dream for 'lighter’ times. It combines thick layers of vocal production with a simple melodic structure, incanting its message with a haunting groove. Darkly playful, it is laced with irony as it turns the human struggle into a bop.
